LM324N Low Power Quad Operational Amplifier DIP-14
= Four Independent Op-Amps in One IC for Analog Projects =
The LM324N is a lowpower, quad operational amplifier integrated circuit in a DIP14 package. It contains four independent, highgain, internally frequencycompensated opamps, making it ideal for signal conditioning, filtering, and analog processing in DIY electronics . Widely used in active filters, comparators, oscillators, and voltage regulators, it was first introduced by Texas Instruments in 1972 and remains a versatile and costeffective choice .
Quad OpAmp Design Four amplifiers in one IC for space-efficient designs
Wide SingleSupply Range Operates from 3V to 32V or dual supplies up to ±16V
The IC is designed to operate from a single power supply over a wide voltage range, with the input common-mode voltage range including ground.
This makes the LM324N popular for Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and general MCU projects requiring multiple analog functions.
The DIP14 package is throughhole, perfect for breadboards and prototyping.

= Pin Configuration =
The DIP14 package provides all four opamps with standard pinouts:
- VCC (pin 4) and GND (pin 11) power the IC
- Each amplifier has inverting input, non-inverting input, and output
- Standard dual/quad op-amp pinout for easy integration
For single-supply operation, connect VCC to positive supply and GND to ground
Use decoupling capacitors (0.1µF) between VCC and GND near the IC
Input voltages must not exceed the supply voltage range
Output swing is limited: 0V to approximately VCC - 1.5V
