Product Description

F5 5mm Green Round Superbright LED

= High-Brightness Round LED for Indicators and Projects =

The 5mm green superbright LED is a highintensity, standardsize through-hole component ideal for visual indicators, displays, and lighting applications. It offers a narrow viewing angle for focused illumination and excellent visibility even in daylight conditions .

High Luminous Intensity - Up to 12,000 mcd for excellent visibility
Narrow 2030° Viewing Angle Focused light output for clear indicators
Operating voltage: 3.0V to 3.8V depending on model .
Currentlimiting resistor (typically 220Ω1kΩ) is required to prevent damage.
Maximum forward current: 25mA to 30mA - exceeding this will damage the LED.

Lens TypeWater Clear (water-clear) or Diffused
For maximum brightness, use a water-clear lens variant. Diffused lenses provide a wider, softer glow.
The anode (positive) lead is the longer lead; the cathode (negative) lead is the shorter lead .

== Applications ==

  1. Panel indicators and status displays
  2. Outdoor signage and displays
  3. LED matrix arrays
  4. General lighting and decoration
  5. Consumer electronics indicators
HighBrightness Design Superb for outdoor and daylight visibility.
Standard 5mm Package - Easy to integrate with breadboards, PCBs, and LED holders.

√ Compatible with Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi.

√ Available in clear water-clear and diffused lens variants.

√ Longlife solidstate reliability.

= Troubleshooting =

LED not lighting:

  • Check polarity: longer lead is anode (+), shorter lead is cathode (-) .
  • Verify a current-limiting resistor is installed (e.g., 220Ω to 1kΩ).
  • Ensure supply voltage meets forward voltage requirement (3.0V - 3.8V).

Dim or uneven brightness:

  • Confirm the correct resistor value is being used.
  • Check for loose or cold solder joints.
