Product Description

SW-520D Digital Tilt Sensor Module

= High-Sensitivity Inclination Detection for Arduino and DIY Projects =

The SW-520D tilt sensor module detects angular changes and vibrations using a metal ball mechanism. It outputs a digital logic signal (HIGH/LOW) when tilted beyond a threshold, making it perfect for alarm systems, smart devices, and robotic applications.

Simple Digital Output - Easy to read with any microcontroller
High Sensitivity & Wide Voltage Range - Operates from 3.3V to 12V
Operating voltage is 3.3V to 12V (module) with 15mA consumption
Adjustable sensitivity via onboard potentiometer for precise trigger angle
Not suitable as a main power switch - designed for signal triggering only

= Connection Guide =

Module pinout:

  • VCC: 3.3V to 12V power supply
  • GND: Ground
  • DO: Digital output signal

Wiring to Arduino:

  • Connect VCC to 5V or 3.3V
  • Connect GND to GND
  • Connect DO to any digital input pin

Note: Analog output (AO) is typically not used on this module

Use a pull-down resistor for stable logic levels
Adjust sensitivity potentiometer clockwise for higher sensitivity

= Troubleshooting =

No output signal:

  • Check power supply voltage is within 3.3V-12V range
  • Verify connections and polarity
  • Adjust potentiometer if DO pin is not responding

Module not responding to tilt:

  • Increase sensitivity via onboard potentiometer
  • Ensure module is securely mounted
  • Sensor output may be affected by angular velocity
