= Connection Guide =
To ESP32/Arduino:
- VCC: 5V (supply capacity >200mA)
- GND: Ground
- TX: Connect to MCU RX (3.3V logic)
- RX: Connect to MCU TX (3.3V logic)
- OUT: GPIO output (optional, 3.3V)
Use femaletofemale jumper wires for quick prototyping
Visual configuration tool requires USB-UART adapter
UART is 3.3V level - use level shifting for 5V microcontrollers
Input power supply must provide >200mA for reliable operation
= Configuration Notes =
The module features 8 configurable distance gates at 0.75m intervals:
- Set detection range by configuring zones 2-8
- Adjust moving and static sensitivity per zone
- Configure "no-one" delay time (default 5 seconds)
- Use LD2410 tool or web-based configuration utility
ESPHome Support - Binary presence sensor with adjustable zones
Tasmota Compatible - Commands for sensitivity and duration settings
√ Visual tuning tool available for Windows
√ Bluetooth version available for mobile configuration
= Troubleshooting =
Module not responding:
- Verify 5V power supply with >200mA capacity
- Check TX/RX crossover connection
- Confirm 3.3V logic compatibility
Short detection range:
- Adjust sensitivity settings via configuration tool
- Ensure proper mounting orientation
- Avoid metal obstructions near sensor
