This ESP32-WROOM development board features both a 3.3V input/output pin and a VIN power input pin, offering flexible powering options for different project needs.

Dual Power Input Options Supports both 3.3V regulated and 512V via VIN
Onboard Voltage Regulator - Converts VIN to stable 3.3V for the ESP32 module
VIN pin accepts 5V to 12V DC input (check board specs for exact range)
The 3.3V pin is primarily a regulated output, but can also accept regulated 3.3V input on some boards
For batterypowered projects, use VIN with 512V input and let the onboard regulator do the work
Do not apply voltage above 3.6V directly to the 3.3V pin unless the board specifically supports it
